:: some history

The Villa Maria Farmhouse, set in the splendid frame of the Amalfi Coast with its typical lemon terraces, begins its activity in July 2003. It is located on a hill from where dominating is the suggestive view of Minori: an old and well-known sea and touristic resort since Roman times. Testimonial of this are the ruins of the ancient "Villa" called infact "Villa Romana" which goes back to the I century B.C.

Altough the farm has opened recently, the idea of a farmhouse comes many years ago thanks to the far-sightedness of the owner Vincenzo and to his mother Maria. It is also thanks to the interest of an article written by Philippa Davenport published in 1992 on "Country Living" magazine which emphasizes the beauty of the place, the quality of the products and Vincenzo's love for the land.
